One hour performances start at 7 p.m. and will run June 7 to Aug. 23

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Community Band has announced it will be playing free one-hour concerts at 7 p.m. every Tuesday evening this summer, starting June 7 and running all the way through Aug. 23.

The concerts will be held in front of the Centennial Bandstand at the Atascadero Lake Park for 14 different concerts full of your favorite marches, movie themes, jazz and rock and roll tunes, and more. Barbecue dinners will also be offered across the park from June 14 through Aug. 2. Concertgoers can bring their lawn chairs, their kids, and their picnic items, and support local music.

After a couple of years hiatus, the band’s musicians are anxious to perform again.
