The Holiday Concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2:30 p.m.
ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Community Band (ACB) recently held its Fall Concert, Celebrating Celebrations, and received accolades from the audience.
Lon Allen, a well-known local icon, stated, “That was an absolutely stunning band concert today. I’m so disappointed in this community that we should not have filled that auditorium for all the work that you guys do and the quality of the product. I’m still on a high from listening to all that good music.”
Part of the mission of the ACB is to support other local nonprofit organizations, and with the donations from this concert, the ACB was able to donate $592 to the concert beneficiary, the Atascadero Printery Foundation. Members of the Printery Foundation were on hand at the concert to help with refreshments and share information with the audience.
The next ACB concert is the Holiday Concert, which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2:30 p.m. at the Pavilion on the Lake. The beneficiary for this concert will be the El Camino Homeless Organization. The concert is free, with free parking and refreshments at intermission. The band is proud to bring back the audience favorite Christmas Sing-Along.
The Atascadero Community Band is an all-volunteer, all-age nonprofit band whose mission includes promoting music education in the community.
