Atascadero Chamber CEO
What a year 2023 has been. Not only did we, as a Chamber, celebrate our 100th anniversary, but we kicked it off with a year of firsts. We rolled out new programs for community members and businesses like Get Your Business Online! helping businesses get a free website, Jr. CEO educating kids on entrepreneurial skills, and more. We partnered with the Hispanic Business Association, established the Atascadero Business Journal, and created a grant portal providing key funding to those in need. Everything we accomplished was because of you. Thank you for supporting our incredible business community. A special thank you to our Leader’s Circle members for stepping in to help fund key programs and events. As we step into a new year, our 101st year as a Chamber, I want to share our goals for the new year.
For 2024, we plan to continue to invest in and grow our thriving business community! We want to ensure that every local business feels empowered to do what they do best. That’s one of the reasons we partnered with the Hispanic Business Association, to include more of the fantastic businesses in our community so that they could access the wide range of tools, support, and connections we offer at the Chamber. We are excited to continue to help more local organizations, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits in our community in 2024.
With new challenges and obstacles emerging, education and information are essential for local businesses. That’s why this year, we’re committed to connecting our community to the knowledge and the connections they need to thrive. Programs like Jr. CEO and Women Of Influence North County (wINC) have already made a significant impact, and we plan to continue to build on their success. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur or a seasoned business owner, we want to be your go-to resource for professional growth.
A growing community needs a place where new businesses and workers can establish themselves and flourish. We plan to meet this need by investing in Bridgeworks West and Bridgeworks Coworking. Flexible work environments are key to a thriving business community.
2024 will be an exciting year — and we can’t wait to share it with you. Together, we’ll work towards fostering a vibrant business community. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey; I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in the coming year.
