ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the State of the City event scheduled for Friday, Feb. 2, at the Colony Theater in Atascadero from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Speakers will showcase a thriving community that is poised for continued success.

City Mayor, Heather Moreno, will address the citizens in a comprehensive vision for the city. City Manager, Jim Lewis will report on the quality of life through services and investments in 2024. Other guest speakers include Phil Dunsmore, Community Development Manager and Loreli Cappel addressing “Authentic Atascadero” and the General Plan for 2045. Tom Butler, Superintendent of AUSD, will speak about preparing each student to be college and career ready, and Terrie Banish, Director of Community Services, will address tourism, marketing, and recreation in Atascadero. Josh Cross, President, and CEO, of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce will serve as a host.
