SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has received a missing person report for 29-year-old Wendelin “Wendy” Stauffer on July 12. Stauffer was last in touch with her employer in May, explaining she needed to travel to Ventura to assist a friend or family member.

Stauffer’s most recent sighting was at the San Jose Regional Medical Center on July 10, though the reason for her presence in the San Jose area remains unclear to her family. She is currently without a known address.

Described as 5′ 5″ tall, and weighing 140 pounds, Stauffer has blue eyes and brown hair. She has reportedly had limited contact with her family.
