ATASCADERO — On July 6, the Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a missing person. Darren Santangelo, a 35-year-old male, was reported missing by a family member. According to the report, Santangelo was last seen leaving his residence in the 7500 block of Rocky Canyon Road on June 30, at approximately 9 p.m.

The last known contact with Santangelo occurred on July 1, at around 7 a.m. when he spoke to another family member. Additionally, he has not reported to work since the week of June 26. This extended absence and lack of communication are considered unusual for him, causing concern among his family.

Darren Santangelo is described as a white male, standing 6′ 5″ tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a multi-colored black and purple tank top, along with dark-colored shorts.
