Celebrate Flag Day on June 14 by displaying an american flag

ATASCADERO — Atascadero Elks Lodge #2733 is encouraging area residents and businesses to display the American Flag on Tuesday, June 14, to celebrate Flag Day. The members of Atascadero Elks Lodge will present certificates to area businesses that display the American Flag. The certificates will recognize their participation in recognition of the American Flag.

Patriotism has characterized the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America since the early days of the organization. Allegiance to the flag of our country is a requirement of every member.

The Atascadero Elks Lodge was established in the city of Atascadero on September 26, 1987. Its mission is to inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.
