The power has been out for 3,464 residents and businesses since approximately 1:19 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8

ATASCADERO — Reports have come in that many businesses in Atascadero have lost power.

At 1:50 p.m. Atascadero News was notified that The Atascadero Post Office had lost power.

At 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, the Atascadero Post Office lost power. It then came back on after the lights flickered before completely cutting out at 1:15 p.m.

According to PG&E on their outage map, power was restored to the Post Office at 2:27 p.m. 

However, approximately 3,464 residents and businesses are without power in Atascadero, with an estimated return to power at 7:15 p.m.
