Paso Robles senior captain Becca Stroud is the Atascadero News and Paso Robles Press Girls Volleyball Player of the Year for her performance this season leading the Bearcats to a 22-14 record. Stroud did a little bit of everything for the Bearcats finishing in the top three in nearly all relevant categories including third in kills, third in aces, second in blocks, third in digs and first in assists while primarily playing as the team’s setter.
Stroud consistently made plays all over the court with her best game coming in San Luis Obispo against Mission Prep. The Bearcats dropped the first set 26-24 but won the next three games to close out the Royals in four games, Stroud finished with nine kills, one ace, four blocks and 10 assists.
