NORTH COUNTY — Snow appeared in North County this morning, Thursday, Feb. 23. The rare and cold winter storm was predicted to bring snow to the higher elevations of the area and already it is delivering some white dusting around Atascadero as seen in our feature photo.
Weather experts are expecting snow could be seen as far as 1,000-2,000 feet. Elevations are predicted to received the following:
2,500-4,000: 1-3 feet of snow

4,000-6,000: 1-3 feet
above 6,000 ft: 3-5 feet with up to 7 feet possible
