ATASCADERO – Looking for a way to get some fresh air and exercise while giving back to the communities youth? The City of Atascadero’s Recreation Department is looking for a Coach/Leader starting next week for 6u pod group.

The Recreation Department provides Coach/Leaders with plenty of support for this program. Practice plans are provided along with online information to pull additional practice plans from. 

This will not be a regular coaching experience, as there will be no preparation or planning for games. The Coach/Leader will not be teaching positions or even game rules. What is needed is for a leader to go out with the 6u kids and lead them in basic stretches, exercises, and soccer skill development drills.

Practice times could be Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 4 or 5 p.m. depending on the Coach/Leader schedule for the month of October.
