Over 30 trees will be on display with $300 worth of gift cards and will be raffled off to visitors

NORTH COUNTY — The Optimist Clubs of Paso Robles and Atascadero announced the inaugural “Optimist Festival of Trees,” a festive holiday event set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion and promises to kick off the holiday season with joy and generosity.

The Optimist Festival of Trees will feature a delightful display of 30-35 uniquely decorated, 4-foot artificial Christmas trees. Each of these beautifully adorned trees will be raffled off to lucky ticket holders. What makes this event truly special is that each raffle not only includes the fully decorated Christmas tree but also includes at least $300 worth of gifts and services generously donated by local merchants, businesses, and individuals. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to participate in a Bonus Christmas Tree raffle, featuring even more gifts and presents for one fortunate winner to take home.

Guests will have approximately two hours to wander through the enchanting forest of trees, place their raffle tickets in the drawing box for the tree of their dreams, and partake in the festivities before and after indulging in a delectable holiday meal. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase as a sheet of 25 tickets, along with one Bonus ticket, all for just $20. There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets that can be purchased, and various payment methods, including checks, credit cards, and cash, will be accepted. It’s important to note that all trees must be taken home by the winners at the conclusion of the evening.

For a $75 tax-deductible entry ticket, guests will enjoy access to the event and a scrumptious meal provided by Steins Catering. For those who wish to imbibe, beer, wine, and champagne will be available for purchase. The evening will also feature other exciting raffles, door prizes, live music, and even the possibility of a special visit from Santa Claus himself.

Tickets for this enchanting event can be obtained by calling Iddy at (805) 469-5609 or Chuck Sawyer at (805) 591-9590, or by contacting any member of the Optimist Club. Tickets and additional information are also available on eventbrite.com
